The CFO will be expected to model and advance this mindset—serving not only as a financial steward, but also as a cultural leader.Position SummaryThe CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, responsible for elevating financial performance, operational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that blends strategic thinking with operational execution. The CFO will oversee all aspects of finance and accounting, including:Planning, budgeting, and forecastingReporting and audit readinessTax strategy and complianceBanking, treasury, and insurancePricing, margin optimization, and capital planningM&A readiness (light but strategic)Managing a high-performing finance teamKey ResponsibilitiesServe as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial performance, growth strategy, and long-term value creationLead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementEnsure compliance with GAAP, federal, state, and international tax and regulatory requirementsOversee monthly close, financial reporting, and external audits (in collaboration with the Accounting Manager)Manage banking, treasury, insurance, and auditor relationshipsPartner with merchandising, operations, and e-commerce teams to improve margins, pricing, and working capital efficiencyDevelop and refine financial systems, processes, and internal controls to support scaleSupport limited M&A activity, including due diligence and integrationCreate and report on meaningful KPIs to measure cross-functional performanceLead with humility, integrity, and a collaborative spiritPerformance ExpectationsFinancial Strategy & ExecutionImprove financial reporting cadence and insights to support strategic decisionsImplement a capital allocation plan aligned with growth goalsOperational Discipline & ControlsStrengthen internal controls and audit readinessEnsure timely and accurate financial closes and reportingOptimize cash management, working capital, and marginsCross-Functional CollaborationBuild strong relationships across merchandising, manufacturing, e-commerce, and government salesImprove cost transparency and operational efficiency across departmentsContribute actively to enterprise-wide strategyTeam LeadershipAssess and refine finance team structure for scaleDevelop and coach rising finance leadersFoster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performanceQualificationsProven experience as a CFO in a complex, high-growth businessBackground in retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, or wholesale distribution strongly preferredDemonstrated success in building and leading high-performance finance teamsExpertise in tax strategy, compliance, audits, and financial systemsExperience with M&A processes, including due diligence and integrationProficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred)CPA, MBA, or equivalent credentials preferredStrong communicator with a bias for actionHands-on, adaptable, and entrepreneurial mindsetHigh integrity, low ego, and a collaborative leadership stylePowered by JazzHR5uPYtmSwKA #J-18808-Ljbffr
