Attending Physician - Department of Emergency MedicineRequisition #: A-161989-52Status: Full TimeType: Clinical AssociateSchool: School of MedicineDepartment/Program: Department of Emergency MedicineThe Johns Hopkins University Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking an Attending Physician for their location at Sibley Memorial Hospital. The role of the physician will be as a Clinical Associate within the busy and diverse department, serving Columbia, Maryland and the surrounding county. The Emergency Department sees upwards of 40,000 patients annually. The department is equipped with a triage area, fast track space, separate behavioral health unit and a main ED Space. We are looking for a physician who is ready for a diverse subset of diagnoses, high acuity, and fast-paced ED setting.QualificationsPhysician must have completed their residency in Emergency Medicine and be board certified in Emergency Medicine. For those candidates just out of residency, boards must be passed within one year of employment. Must maintain a DC license, DEA, and CDS.Pre-Employment InformationThe successful candidate(s) for this position will be subject to a pre-employment background check including education verification.Johns Hopkins University strongly encourages, but no longer requires, at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
