The ideal candidate will be motivated by joining a quickly growing organization, and excited to help us improve the care experience for patients and providers.Key Responsibilities:Provides onsite psychiatric care that is timely and appropriate and/or medical evaluation for patients to determine treatment needs.Offer medication management and ongoing care consistent with current practice standards.Provides concurrent documentation in the EMR in an accurate manner which is consistent with Geode procedure and applicable standards.Deliver services using telehealth applications to provide remote health care when appropriate .Provide leadership, collaboration, and training to nurse practitioners and physician assistants.Document and navigate EHR independently and in a timely manner .Work collaboratively with clinical leadership, billing, and compliance to ensure accurate and appropriate documentation .Qualifications :Board certified in Psychiatry .Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine .A proactive approach with a strong work ethic and desire to participate in a collaborative environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretionAbility to maintain highly confidential informationWorking Conditions:Standard office environment with occasional travel to client locations.May involve evening or weekend hours to accommodate client schedules.Potential exposure to stressful situations and emergency scenarios.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit for 3-4 h our s at a time between patient care and documentation.F ine finger coordination required for typing, pressing objects such as utilizing laptop/mouse for documentation purposesAbility to speak clearly with patients and team members so others can understand.Ability to hear and understand others when speakingAbility to view computer screen monitor, small objects few feet awayAbility to act and move quickly in emergencysituations involving patient care At Geode Health, we offer:Competitive compensationFlexible scheduleIn-person and virtual patient visitsComprehensive admin support (front office, accounting, finance, payroll, HR, etc)Professional development opportunitiesClinical community, support, and leadershipMedical, dental and vision benefitsLife insuranceShort and long-term disabilityPaid vacation and holidaysMatching 401k planState of the art technologyWhy work for Geode Health?At Geode Health, we take our commitment to patients and providers seriously.
