Were continuing to grow quickly and looking for the best of the best to come join our team.The Lead Dentist is a mentor and coach to the dentists hygienists and dental assistants in the studio. Along with the Studio Manager the Lead Dentist is responsible for creating an environment that embraces Tends Mission Vision and Values. The Lead Dentist reports to the Chief Dental Officer.The Lead Dentists objectives and responsibilities include the following :1 Hire and train the right clinical team.Clinical Mentorship of all clinical personnel in the studio (guidance on diagnosis treatment planning treatment delivery and patient experience).Clinical Coaching of all clinical personnel in studio (correction of hard and soft skills performance improvement) with appropriate documentationComplete Performance Reviews of general dentists in studio on a monthly or quarterly basis creating Action Plans as neededResponsible for interviewing and onboarding clinical personnel in conjunction with the Studio Manager Clinical / Operations and People teams.Assume role of Clinical Lead in onboarding of new hiresInitiate Quality Assurance Review for new hiresMaintain quality outcomes of care for clinical teams in studioReview monthly REDOs with Studio Manager analyze trendsPartner with the Lead Hygienist and Lead Dental Assistant in mentorship and coaching of hygienists and dental assistants respectivelyPartner with SM on escalated members (detractors Clinical Escalation Workflow) to review case deescalate member and to provide feedback to providerMake determinations on refunds and other matters related to member escalationsPartner with SM to lead preshift huddles focus on opportunities for improving clinical workflow and member experiencePartner with the Studio Manager on nonclinical functional areas of Clinical / Operations Finance People Support and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to optimize performance of your practicePartner with the Studio Manager to optimize schedules of all providers in the studio with the goals of improving member access to care outcomes of care and achieving studio performance goalsPartner with the Studio Manager to obtain coverage for provider shiftsAssume ownership of clinical outcomes for studio including taking over difficult cases and coordinating outreach to escalated members3 Build a strong studio culture.Partner with SM Lead RDH and Lead DA to foster a positive working environmentIdentify clinical team members with leadership potentialAttend calls with clinical leaders as needed and cascade necessary information to studio teams.About YouMinimum of 6 years of experience in practice postgraduate is preferredProven experience mentoring teaching leading a group of clinical providers to create outstanding patient care and service.Dedication to ensuring the highest quality of care to patientsLeadership skills that value collaboration and an inclusive work environment.Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment that values high energy and creative problem solving.Proven ability to manage complex patient and team member conversations by involving the appropriate cross functional support and assistance.High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and resultsorientation.DDS DMD degree is requiredCPR / BLS Certification is requiredCurrent License to practice dentistry in state where employedClinical Care DeliverablesPerform general dentistry services at or above the standards of careBe capable of mentoring dentists with expanded scopes of practiceBe capable of providing services with a keen attention to elevated patient experience and efficiency of deliveryCompensation & Benefits :Day Rate Monthly Production Bonus Quarterly Lead Dentist BonusMedical benefits dental benefits and vision benefits401(k) benefit with a 4% matchDentist Equity & Partnership : Leads will have the opportunity to invest alongside Tend and benefit from our growth.Oral health stipend benefit at TendCE Zoom resources (90 hours)Malpractice Insurance coveragePaid time off plus company holidaysSchedule :Were open from 8am5pm MondayFridayShifts : 7 : 30am4pm & 9am5 : 30pmWere open on Saturdays from 8am3pmShift : 7 : 30am3pmdentists2022The Tend DifferenceThe highest standard of care anywhere.Youll work with highlyesteemed clinical leadership and experienceobsessed colleagues to provide the best patient experience possible with access to technology thats head and shoulders above the average practice.
