Chief Financial OfficerWhy This CFO Position?This is an exceptional opportunity for a financial leader to join a well-established community bank and play a key role in driving strategic growth, profitability, and operational excellence. As CFO, you'll oversee finance, accounting, investments, and treasury functions while also providing leadership to human resources, IT, and lending operations. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior management and the board of trustees, helping to shape long- and short-term strategies that safeguard assets, support regulatory compliance, and strengthen the Bank's financial position.Key Responsibilities of the CFOProvide strategic financial leadership to the organization, advising the President/CEO, senior management, and board of trustees on fiscal control, profitability, and riskOversee accounting, budgeting, investments, treasury, tax, HR, IT, and lending functionsDirect the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and regulatory filingsManage liquidity, asset/liability positions, and the investment portfolio while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirementsLead the development and implementation of budgets, internal controls, policies, and financial systems to enhance efficiency and transparencyServe as primary liaison with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and investment advisorsSupervise and mentor department managers and staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure departmental proficiencyParticipate in strategic planning initiatives, ensuring alignment between financial operations and organizational goalsMonitor industry and economic trends, recommending prudent courses of action to mitigate risks and seize opportunitiesPreferred Qualifications of the CFOBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; Master's degree preferred7-10 years of progressive financial leadership experience within the banking industryStrong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and asset/liability managementProven leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with board membersHigh ethical standards, strong analytical abilities, and effective planning skillsTechnological proficiency with advanced financial and banking software applications #J-18808-Ljbffr
