The community features two clubhouses, 45 holes of golf, fitness, tennis & pickleball, softball, pools, trails, and more.Where: Located in Chandler & Sun Lakes, ArizonaBenefits:Full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for medical, dental, and life insurance plans starting the first of the month following their start date.Eligible to accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) at 120 hours per year.Eligible for 7 paid holidays annually.All team members 21+ are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan after 30 days of service.Position Overview:The General Manager at BlueStar Resort & Golf will lead the development and implementation of a community resort lifestyle, maintaining high standards, delivering exceptional member service, and providing diverse social, educational, and physical experiences.The GM oversees daily operations of the club and HOA, sets community tone, and ensures programs are innovative and diverse. Responsibilities include managing food and beverage, golf, fitness operations, fiscal systems, property maintenance, administration, and communication with members on behalf of the anizational Structure:The GM reports to the Vice President of Operations of BlueStar Resort & Golf and works closely with the Board.Key Responsibilities:Develops strategic plans and ensures alignment with BlueStar Resort & Golf's overall direction.Creates and updates the five-year and annual business plans.Maintains close communication with the VP of Operations and the client to align priorities and future goals.Passion for Customer Service:Proactively develops long-term plans to deliver exceptional products and profit contributions.Participates in marketing strategy reviews and pricing policies for revenue streams.Evaluates guest feedback to maintain service quality and addresses complaints promptly.Regularly gathers guest feedback through surveys.Represents the facility positively within the community and to external stakeholders.Team Member Excellence:Ensures adequate and capable management staff, participates in hiring, coaching, and evaluating managers.Conducts regular performance meetings and supports staff development.Upholds and communicates the community's vision and values.Operational Excellence:Performs site inspections and implements improvements.Builds relationships with external entities such as government agencies and vendors.Develops bidding and contract procedures, oversees contractor performance.Manages property maintenance, insurance, and risk assessments.Leads meetings, prepares agendas, and maintains legal and contractual compliance.Financial Management:Participates in financial reviews and manages the facility’s financial performance.Prepares budgets, monitors expenses, and reports variances.Ensures timely financial reporting and compliance with regulations.Personal Attributes:Customer-oriented, responsive, and proactive.Ability to work under pressure and lead teams.Aligns with BlueStar core values: Honesty & Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.At least 5 years managing high-end private clubs or multiple clubs, with HOA experience preferred.Extensive operational background in private clubs including admin, maintenance, finance, and personnel.Strong communication, reporting, and customer service skills.Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Work Environment:Indoor office setting with standard equipment; moderate noise levels.Physical Demands:Requires speaking, hearing, sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.BlueStar Resort & Golf is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
