By connecting counterparties, providing market intelligence, and streamlining transactions, we unlock faster decision making, lower cost of capital, and accelerated investment.The OpportunityWe are adding a Managing Director, Buyside to our Markets & Transactions team, reporting to our Head of Buyside, to rapidly scale the network of buyers, and execute more transactions.What you'll doDevelop long-term client relationships with tax and finance leaders at the largest F250 tax credit buyersBuild net new relationships for Crux through conferences, networking, outreach, our extensive partnerships, and inboundBe a trusted expert in the market by speaking on webinars, on panels at conferences, and moreServe as a trusted partner to transact, helping them build and execute on their tax credit purchase strategy through all stages of transactionPartner with external buyer advisors including legal and tax to navigate complex transaction itemsEnsure we are partnering year-over-year and expanding our relationships with owned relationshipsAct as an internal subject matter expert on technical topics related to tax creditsContribute to and lead the development of new offerings for our most strategic partnersChampions the creation of and adoption of intellectual propertyPartner with product and customer success teams to ensure tax and finance teams get maximal benefit out of the Crux technology platformWho you are12+ years of experience in tax, accounting, legal practice, and/or tax advantaged investingProven track record building and owning long-term client relationships with tax and finance teams at large corporations from scratchComfortable and confident with cold outreach, conference participation and public speakingStrong collaborative and team orientationUnrivaled relationship building skills; you build trust quickly and communicate clearlyExcited about the idea of a rapid-growth environment with a lot of autonomy, flexibilityYou’re not afraid to roll-up your sleeves and build things yourselfWilling to travel, 25%Contribute to and help build team cultureWhat we bring:$77m raised from top investors like Andreessen Horowitz, Lowercarbon Capital, New System Ventures, Overture, Ardent Venture Partners, QED, Canapi, and others.Healthcare: We cover 100% of premiums for employees with a variety of plans on Aetna (nationwide) and Kaiser (WA and California) and subsidize $400 for dependents (total as a group), if relevant. Dental & vision: We cover 100% of premiums for employees and 50% for dependents (each), if relevant.Holidays: 10 company holidays per year Paid time off: 20 days per year401k: We support a 401k account but don't have a matching program set up at this time (typical for an early-stage startup).Regular all-team onsites 3 times/pensation = base salary in the $200k's/ $300k's with an annual performance bonus and a company wide bonus tied to revenue goals = 50-75% of base.
