A Day in the Life of a General ManagerAs a General Manager, your time will be spent providing leadership for your teams. You are responsible for overall office sales, growth, and profitability. We are aggressive in our goals, and we will challenge you to perform at the highest levels.You will focus on effective communication, coaching, training, development, and engagement with your team. You will provide great leadership for employee relations. Your open-door policy provides a constructive place for employees to go to resolve workplace issues and concerns. You will foster a positive labor/management relationship. Your high level of integrity, business ethics, and sound judgment are essential to your success in this management position.Responsibilities:Leads the development and implementation of short and long-term strategic objectives for assigned regions to maximize performance and profitabilityDevelops annual business plans for the branch/region to ensure alignment with corporate budget and goalsReviews critical ongoing project information, including, but not limited to, budgets, timelines, and productionAssures the branch/region operates with consistency and complies with corporate processes and systemsDevelops an annual strategic plan for regional office growthReviews invoices and accounts payable/receivableManages overall collections for the branchEnsures compliance with company standards for cost control and waste reductionEnsures maintenance of adequate job-related equipment and materialsEnsures job cost and proceduresOversees operations team to ensure overall profitability, performance, and quality of workParticipates in the annual budgeting processAccountable for the individual branch P/L performanceResponsible for branch-specific budget/margin fade or profit gainUnderstands the estimated job cost to completeCreates and manage sales and local marketing budgetsResponsible for performance/pay reviews and identifying key performers and underperformersIdentifies retention risksPerforms other related duties as assignedExperience & Education:Seven (7) or more years of industry-related experienceThree (3) or more years of progressive management or leadership experienceBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of experienceSpecial Position Requirements:Valid driver's license requiredFirst Onsite provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
