General Manager

A Sonic General Manager is the Captain of their own ship! You will lead a team toward goals that can bevery professionally and financially rewarding for you!As a SONIC Drive-In General Manager, you will lead your team in an on-going effort to give our guests a Great Service Experience! You will be in charge of training and supporting drive-in employees, ensuring that food and service is delivered in a clean, safe, and efficient manner to the most loyal fans in the industry!Essential General Manager job duties are listed below:●Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/ Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops●Directs and assigns drive-in employees as needed to ensure operational standards are met●Adheres to and monitors employee compliance of the drive-in employee handbook, policies and practices●Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties●Prepares employee work schedules; monitors and makes appropriate adjustments to restaurant staffing levels●Monitors and maintains inventory levels. Places orders for food, paper and other supplies as needed●Completes and maintains all drive-in employment related records and payroll records●Reinforces a "customer first" culture and ensures all employees are focused on "Fast, Fresh, and Friendly"●Resolves guest requests. Reports guest complaints to immediate supervisor and resolves guest complaints●Interview and hire restaurant crew and management team members to achieve proper staffing levels●Develops action plans to resolve unfavorable operational or financial trendsAdditional General Manager Requirements:●High school diploma or equivalent required. Studies in business, management or related fields are helpful●Minimum of two (6) Months of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)●Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices●Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations●Leadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skills●The ability to work days, nights and week-ends (some holidays as well) ●Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONICExcellent benefits including vacation, insurance, retirement plan, and stock ownership.
