In addition to shipping great work, we are equally committed to a design culture that is inspiring, collaborative, and fun – and this person will also have leadership opportunities to shape how we work.Key ResponsibilitiesTake full ownership of projects that involve end-to-end features or products within a clearly scoped set of product requirementsDesign intuitive, easy-to-understand user experiences that enhance the overall productCreate and iterate on flows, prototypes and high-fidelity visuals to communicate ideasActively contribute to product-level decision-making by participating in team meetings, cross-functional groups, and collaborative feedback sessionsConsistently deliver work that is well-thought-out and aligned with project goalsDemonstrate sustained productivity and meet project deadlines by accurately estimating the time required for tasksSet an example for designers in your orbit through mentorship and open, honest feedbackQualificationsAs an applicant to this role, we ask that your portfolio demonstrates:5+ years of relevant industry experienceExperience shipping high-utility mobile or desktop applications, simplifying complex user flows, or delivering new product innovation that disrupted conventionsExpert understanding of user-centered design principles and best practicesSelf-motivated problem solving with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasivelyHunger for innovation, fluidity with ideas, eagerness to challenge the status quoStrong interest in and aptitude for learning new technologies and design skillsStrong work ethic, are reliable, adaptable, and collaborate well with othersAbility to design within design guides and contribute to design languageExpert knowledge of Figma and/or other design toolsBA/BS or equivalent experience requiredThe hiring range for this position in San Francisco, CA is $138,500.00 to $185,600.00 per year, in New York, NY is $132,500.00 to $177,600.00 per year, and in Santa Monica, CA is $126,400.00 to $169,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
