We are seeking a growth-minded manager to lead our team at the Dairy Queen location in Salem, Oregon.ResponsibilitiesBuild and develop a trusted team by guiding, supporting, and motivating crew members and shift leaders.Maintain positive working relationships with all staff and foster a cooperative and pleasant work environment to maximize morale, productivity, and efficiency.Hire, train, and develop shift managers; conduct employee performance reviews.Ensure the team provides an excellent guest experience in all areas.Use the restaurant’s profit & loss statements to optimize sales and profits by analyzing COGS and taking corrective actions as needed.Manage inventory, forecast demand changes, and adjust labor accordingly.Ensure proper staffing to drive sales, prepare and approve crew schedules to meet staffing and labor goals.Respond promptly to customer complaints, resolve issues, and identify areas for anize and implement local marketing initiatives, incorporating regional and national promotions to increase sales.Exercise sound judgment in decision-making and report issues to the district manager.Qualifications / SkillsMinimum of 3-5 years of restaurant management experience; quick service experience preferred.High School diploma or equivalent required.Strong sense of urgency, ability to thrive under pressure, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent customer service skills and adaptability to diverse team members and customers.Proven management success demonstrated through effective control of COGS and labor.Detail-oriented with the ability to oversee all aspects of a dynamic restaurant.Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.Strong ownership mentality, being available to the store 24/7 to support the team and ensure operational continuity.EOE AA M/F/Veteran/DisabilityDND Groups is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
