With elegant indoor spaces and picturesque outdoor settings, it provides the perfect backdrop for both intimate gatherings and large celebrations.Location: Silver Lakes Golf & Country ClubPosted: 2025-09-02 | Deadline: 2025-11-30ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of the golf course, including maintenance, golf operations, hospitality services, and eventsSupervise department heads (F&B, golf operations, grounds keeping, banquet and events) to ensure coordinated operationsDevelop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain service excellenceEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulationsPrepare, manage and monitor annual budgets for all departmentsTrack and analyze revenue streams (fees, memberships, pro shop sales, F&B) to identify opportunities for growthApprove purchases, control costs, and ensure efficient allocation of resourcesPrepare monthly and annual financial reports for ownershipRecruit, train, mentor and evaluate staff across all departmentsConduct regular staff meetings and foster a positive, collaborative work environmentEnsure proper scheduling and staffing levels for peak and non-peak seasonsWork with marketing team to promote the facility through advertising, events, and community outreachDevelop partnerships with local businesses and community organizationsOversee tournaments scheduling, corporate outings, and special events to drive revenueMaintain course quality and playabilityOversee clubhouse maintenance, renovations, and other projectsEnsure facilities are clean, safe, and appealing to members and guestsQualificationsDESIRED PROFILEBachelor's degree in business administration or a related fieldMinimum of 5+ years as a general manager or in a management position at a golf clubExcellent communications, negotiation and interpersonal skillsProficient in golf management softwareFinancial, budgetary and accounting management skillsAble to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage personnel and meet financial targets with proven experience managing financial resultsAbility to build and maintain member relationshipsSkills and Personal QualitiesStrong knowledge of golf industry operations and trendsCarries inspiring and dynamic leadership and can promote team spiritHardworking with good priority managementAbility to work under pressureVersatility, autonomy and a strong sense of initiativeCompensationBase annual salary of approximately $100,000.00 – to be determined based on experience.
