We are eager to bring aboard a growth-minded manager to lead our crew at this Dairy Queen location in Yukon, Oklahoma.ResponsibilitiesBuilding and developing a trusted team. The general manager will guide, support, and bring out the best in their crew members and shift leaders.Maintaining positive working relationships with all restaurant staff. Fostering a cooperative and pleasant environment to maximize employee morale, productivity, and efficiency.Hiring, training, and developing shift managers; conducting formal employee performance reviews.Ensuring the team provides an excellent guest experience in all areas.Using the restaurant's profit & loss statement to optimize sales and profit by analyzing COGS and taking corrective actions as needed.Maintaining inventory, projecting demand changes, and adjusting labor accordingly.Ensuring proper staffing to drive sales; preparing crew schedules and approving schedules created by assistant managers to meet staffing and labor goals.Responding personally to customer complaints to resolve issues promptly and ensure satisfaction, while identifying areas for team anizing and implementing local marketing efforts, as well as regional and national promotions, to increase sales. Exercising good judgment in decision-making and reporting issues to the district manager.Qualifications / SkillsMinimum of 3-5 years of restaurant management experience; quick service experience preferred.High School diploma or equivalent required.Strong sense of urgency, ability to thrive under pressure, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with diverse team members and customers.Proven management success demonstrated through effective control of COGS and labor.Detail-oriented with the ability to oversee all aspects of a dynamic restaurant.Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.A strong sense of ownership; available 24/7 to support store and team needs or ensure proper coverage in their absence.EOE AA M/F/Veteran/DisabilityDND Groups is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring all employment decisions are made without regard to race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics.
