Position: USSOCOM Site ManagerLocation: CONUS locations as defined in Task OrdersPosition Type: Full timeTravel: 10%**Contingent upon award**Position Summary:The Site Manager (SM) is a key leader responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing role player support operations at USSOCOM training sites. Serving as the primary liaison to government leads, the SM ensures all contracted support personnel meet scenario requirements, comply with strict safety and security practices, and sustain operational readiness. The SM is pivotal to mission success, maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards while supporting complex, realistic military training scenarios.Duties and Responsibilities:These services are required to support unique efforts which may require:Act as primary liaison to the Lead Range Safety Officer (LRSO)Manage all on-site personnel, equipment, and training materialsCoordinate transportation and scheduling for role playersEnforce and document compliance with security, safety, and OPSEC protocols—including overseeing NDAsRemove and replace personnel for performance, safety, or OPSEC violationsEnsure proper site setup and post-training cleanupPrevent unauthorized photography, video, or use of mobile devicesDevelop and implement site-specific safety plans in coordination with the Safety OfficerRequired Skills and Abilities:Documented operational experience working directly with U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) OR Minimum of four (4) contracts providing support for 45+ role playersDocumented experience as a U.S. SOF Close Quarter Combat (CQC) Range Safety Officer (RSO) with in-depth knowledge of role player safety controlsProficiency in small arms handling and simulated firing safetyU.S. citizenshipProficient in English (for effective instruction and safety communication)Willingness to sign a Nondisclosure Agreement with consent to monitor social mediaMust pass background check and meet security clearance standardsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsClimb ten (10) flights of stairsManage role players during training for up to 8 hours/dayActive SECRET Clearance requiredPhysical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the IC is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The IC frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The IC must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
