Job Description - Director of Digital Technology & AnalyticsAbout Us: AAR Corp. AAR’s purpose is to empower people to build innovative aerospace solutions today so you can safely reach your destination tomorrow.The Director of Digital Technology & Analytics (DT&A) is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and support of enterprise-scale application systems, including off-the-shelf and custom solutions. This role will report to the VP, Digital Technology & Analytics, and will partner closely with business leaders to define technology roadmaps aligned to organizational goals.Responsibilities:Direct the development, maintenance, and production support of commercial off the shelf applications and systems.Design, develop and Upgrade solutions in ERP systems.Train users in application functionality.Provide end user support for application usage and troubleshooting.Maintain effective and collaborative relationships with functional leaders, partnering to develop technological roadmaps that support their strategic missions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including enterprise application development and vendor management.Application implementation and/or support experience - Required.Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects – Required.SQL skills in Oracle and Microsoft environments – Desired.ERP support/development (Infor: FSM / LN / Syteline - preferred, Costpoint - nice to have) – Desired.Year One Critical Success Factors:Business Mindset (Strategic Planning): Demonstrate the ability to develop solution plans which complete work efficiently and on time by setting priorities, establishing timelines, and leveraging resources.People Awareness (Building Partnerships): Meet with project stakeholders and DTA personnel to establish good working relationships and establish trust.Embrace Growth (Innovation): Demonstrate consideration of novel solutions to new and existing projects.Benefits:Competitive salary and bonus prehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) retirement plan with company match.Generous paid time off program.Professional development and career advancement opportunities.Physical Demands/Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
