At GenesisCare we want to hear from people who are as passionate as we are about innovation and working together to drive better life outcomes for patients around the world.Medical Oncologist Needed!Boynton Beach, FloridaDo your life’s best work!The Medical Oncologist uses chemotherapy and other medications to treat cancer patients.What you’ll do:Meets with patients to determine diagnosis, stage of cancer, various treatment options and assist with palliative options to ensure comfort of patient.Explain cancer development stages to patients, discuss treatment options and assist in pain management.Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition.Coordinate treatment plans with other physicians to ensure cohesion of care.Prescribe various types of treatment including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.Responsible for dictation, writing prescription, monitoring treatment plans, etc.Ability to lead physician office staff for purposes of planning and accomplishing goals.Who you are:A Medical degree in Oncology and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship in Oncology.A caring and compassionate nature when dealing with patients.A thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of cancers and cancer treatment options.Technical skills to operate medical equipment and tools related to cancer treatment.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.About GenesisCare:An integrated oncology and multispecialty network in Florida and North Carolina providing care for more than 120,000 patients annually, GenesisCare U.S. offers community-based cancer care and other services at convenient locations.
