The psychiatrist will work on a multidisciplinary team and have support staff that includes a medical assistant, behavioral health/psychiatry nurse, clinical pharmacist, and community health worker. The psychiatrist will also work closely with Central Health counselors to provide optimal patient care. The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and offer medication management for adults referred from medical clinics and community-based teams. This person will work with a diverse adult patient population, providing direct and appropriate mental health care to housed and unhoused individuals with psychiatric and cooccurring disorders (ex. substance abuse, medical illness, physical disabilities, and intellectual disabilities). As a member of the clinical team, psychiatrist will provide direct patient care in the community and clinic via face-to face and telehealth, which includes video visits. Opportunity for clinical leadership. This individual will be supported by the Director of Behavioral Health, Associate Chief Medical Officer and Chief Medical Officer.
