OverviewThe MetroHealth System is seeking a Medical Director to lead the provider team and clinical direction of the Cuyahoga County Corrections Center Medical Services for the Cuyahoga County Jail System. The Medical Director shall be a licensed physician in the State of Ohio and will serve as the responsible physician for the Cuyahoga County Corrections Center Health Services Program. The Medical Director will provide clinical oversight of all medical and psychiatric services, develop programs that support reduced recidivism, and provide pharmacy licensure and medication practice review. The Medical Director will work collaboratively with MetroHealth leadership, County Correctional leadership, clinical and support staff on identifying opportunities for new or revised processes to ensure access, performance improvement, as well as development of an effective, high quality, skilled and motivated workforce. Ensures that medical care within the correctional facility meets NCCHC accreditation standards and other corrections regulations.
