OverviewPhysician - Department of Neurology, Neuromuscular- Autonomic Disorders (Open Rank/Track Faculty) – The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The Department is recruiting a Fellowship Trained in Autonomic Disorders or Clinical Neuromuscular Physician with experience in the treatment and research of autonomic disorders to join the team. Position focus is primarily outpatient with some inpatient service. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Neuromuscular Disorders Center is internationally recognized for clinical services and translational research. Ideal candidates will have academic interest and clinical or laboratory-based research interest. Our benefits package includes retirement, medical and dental plans, malpractice, and conference and vacation.Duties and ResponsibilitiesFaculty responsibilities align with patient care, education, and clinical research. The selected individual will contribute to training, research, and scholarly activities. Specific duties include:Participate in the outpatient evaluation of patients with suspected autonomic disorders and peripheral neuropathySupervise autonomic testing in the neurodiagnostic laboratoryPerform EMG and nerve conduction studies (NCS)Represent the program or Department by participating in committees, conferences, and professional/community engagementsQualificationsMD or DOSuccessful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency ProgramBoard Certified or Board Eligible in NeurologyCompletion of Autonomic fellowship training or Neuromuscular Medicine or Clinical Neurophysiology with EMG neuromuscular emphasis and clinical/research experience in autonomic medicineEligible for an Ohio Medical LicenseHow To ApplySubmit your application electronically via Workday.
