OverviewContract Psychiatrist for Mental Health Services at St. Anne’s Family Services. This role supports the Mental Health Services Team and focuses on strengthening families and nurturing emotional well-being from pregnancy through parenthood and beyond.This is a contracted position funded by government sources and offers an opportunity to contribute to community-driven care.ResponsibilitiesAssess and screen patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams, and observationsAnalyze data and results of assessments to diagnose patientsPrescribe and administer medications according to diagnosisMonitor patients to determine efficacy and potential side effects of medicationsCollaborate on the creation of a treatment plan, measure progress against the plan, and adjust as neededProvide psychiatric crisis intervention as neededComplete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely mannerCollaborate and communicate with the broader St. Anne’s team of therapists, child and family specialists, case managers, and other stakeholders about treatment, care, and to assess and adjust treatment plans as neededQualificationsCurrent and valid board certification in psychiatryLicensed to practice medicine in CAMaintain current DEA registrationExcellent knowledge and familiarity with current DSM criteriaFamiliar with psychiatric crisis assessment tools and techniquesStrong working knowledge of general psychiatric principles and practicesExperience working with young children and families, especially in community-based settingsExcellent communication, cultural humility, and collaboration skillsAvailability for up to 10 hours per week as a 1099 contractorNote: This position will only be working with adult clients.Bid and Application DetailsInterested in partnering with us?
