Neurology - Neuromuscular Medicine Physician Job with University of Minnesota Physicians in Maple Grove, MNJoin to apply for the Neurology - Neuromuscular Medicine Physician role at University of Minnesota Physicians.The Department of Neurology at the University of Minnesota and UMPhysicians is recruiting a full-time neurologist for MHealth Fairview (University of Minnesota Physicians/Fairview Health Services Partnership).Position Highlights:Seeking a neuromuscular medicine-certified physician with a subspecialty interest in ALS research and care.Approximately 30% of the role involves leading neuromuscular clinical research within an established research program.Candidates with neuromuscular research experience, existing funded research, or research expertise (MD, PhD, MD MPH) are encouraged to apply.The position includes outpatient neuromuscular services at the University campus and community clinics, including ALS multidisciplinary clinic, general neuromuscular clinic, EMG, neuromuscular ultrasound, and limited inpatient call coverage.Opportunities to supervise and train medical students, residents, and fellows, and collaborate on clinical trials and academic activities.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency program; Board Certified or Board Prepared by the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic pletion of a Neuromuscular Fellowship Program.Licensed or eligible for Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.Ability to obtain DEA certification in Minnesota.Meet credentialing and privileges requirements.Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills.Note: Not eligible for J1 visa waiver applicants.Benefits:Substantial 401K employer contribution.Well-being program with annual allotment, peer coaching, counseling, and concierge services.CME, licensing, certification, and DEA fee allowances.Malpractice insurance coverage.Qualified for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.The University offers comprehensive benefits including low-cost medical, dental, and pharmacy plans.Partnerships & About the University:Providers practice at affiliated locations under the M Health Fairview system, a collaboration between University of Minnesota Physicians, University of Minnesota Medical Center, and Fairview Health Services, dedicated to excellent clinical care, research, and education.The University of Minnesota is a leading public research institution with a rich history of medical leadership and innovation, supporting research, clinical care, and education. #J-18808-Ljbffr
