Our dedicated team of medical professionals specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases and are committed to providing high-quality care in a compassionate and caring environment.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as an Infectious Disease Specialist in St. Louis, MO. The Infectious Disease Specialist will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients with a variety of infectious diseases, including but not limited to respiratory infections, wound infections, and sexually transmitted diseases. The successful candidate will work directly with patients, providing diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care. Additionally, the Infectious Disease Specialist will collaborate with other medical professionals to implement infection control policies and procedures.QualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degreeBoard Certification or Board Eligibility in Infectious Disease requiredValid state medical license and DEA registrationExperience in the management of infectious diseases, and appropriate use of antimicrobial therapy, including knowledge of pharmacology, antibiotic resistance patterns, and stewardship principlesAbility to interpret microbiologic and laboratory data, and familiarity with molecular diagnostic techniques, including PCR and other nucleic acid-based amplification assaysExperience with infection prevention and control practices in healthcare settingsExcellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with other medical professionals to achieve patient-centered goalsCommitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of Infectious DiseasesAbout Area: St. louis is large multicultural city with lots of attractive places to visit.
