We are committed to providing care that respects the individual.Position Summary: William & Mary Student Health Center invites applicants for a full-time, staff psychiatrist position. This person will serve as part of a multidisciplinary team in providing outpatient mental health treatment to enrolled students. Responsibilities include evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate medical management of mental health conditions; maintenance of appropriate documentation; crisis intervention and recommendations as needed; consultation to other health professionals within the Health and Wellness units; and education/training related to mental health conditions of late adolescence and early adulthood. Consultation with departments within the Division of Student Affairs and the University, based on established Releases of Information and as allowed by the Law in the Commonwealth of Virginia. #J-18808-Ljbffr
