OverviewJoin to apply for the Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine role at Health eCareers.Acclaim Physician Group and JPS Health Network are seeking a board certified/board eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our Women’s and Infants service line. This is a county hospital setting with an urban teaching environment that supports physician-led collaboration and community-focused care.The hospital is located in the heart of The Magnolia Village and Medical District of Fort Worth, Texas.Position DescriptionClinically based position focused on ambulatory and hospital perinatal consults and ultrasounds. 24-hour academic OB program. Resident teaching with academic and quality improvement focused research expectations. Clinical and academic affiliation with University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM) and Texas Christian University (TCU) and UNTHSC School of Medicine. Shared call coverage.ResponsibilitiesProvide ambulatory and hospital-based perinatal consults and obstetric ultrasounds.Participate in a 24-hour academic OB program and resident teaching.Engage in academic activities, quality improvement, and research initiatives.Collaborate with affiliated medical schools and universities.Share on-call responsibilities as part of a team.QualificationsFetal Echo experience preferred.BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.Required Education And ExperienceCurrent Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.Residency and/or Fellowship training within specialty.5 Years Of Independent Practice Experience Highly Preferred.Must have current Texas Medical License.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Unrestricted DEA.Licenses and CertificationsTexas Medical License (current).BLS certification.Unrestricted DEA.Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesComfort working in a large public/county facility.Working knowledge in area assigned with competency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment processes.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Self-directed with initiative to develop and participate in community activities and medical outreach.Patient-centered care and commitment to education and teaching medical/graduate students, house staff, and mitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects.BenefitsGenerous paid time off.Malpractice coverage.Health, vision, and dental insurance options.Professional expense allowance.Retirement plans.Essential Functions Of The RoleExamine, collect, record, and maintain patient information (medical history, reports, examinations).Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other medical care.Order, perform, and interpret tests; diagnose conditions based on records and examinations.Collaborate with a clinical team in decision-making around tests, diagnoses, and treatment options.Monitor patient conditions, reevaluate treatments as necessary, and perform procedures as appropriate to the specialty.Location1500 S.
