This California healthcare job offers a supportive environment, scenic surroundings, and the opportunity to make a real impact in women's health.Key Job Details – OB/GYN PA or NP Locum Tenens PositionLocation:Fontana, California 92335 (Inland Empire)Position:Locum Tenens Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Obstetrics and GynecologyStart Date:August 1, 2025End Date:October 25, 2025 (13-week contract, extension possible)Schedule:Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMShifts per Week:5 (8-hour shifts)Call:No call requiredSupport Staff:Full RN and LVN team, with supervising physician on siteEMR:Health Connect (EPIC-based electronic medical record)Estimated Weekly Pay:$4,310 - $4,620Qualifications – OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantActive California PA or NP license requiredBoard Certification as Physician Assistant or Nurse PractitionerBLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)DEA licenseMinimum 1 year of recent experience in OB/GYN (strong obstetrics experience required)Proficient in performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds (dating pregnancies to 8 weeks preferred)Experience with gynecological preventative care and well-woman examsPrimary Responsibilities – OB/GYN Advanced Practice ProviderDeliver comprehensive outpatient care for obstetric patients, including prenatal and postpartum visitsPerform and interpret ultrasounds for early pregnancy dating (down to 8 weeks gestation)Conduct gynecological preventative care, routine GYN exams, and well-woman visitsManage a daily patient schedule of 20-24 patients in a fast-paced clinic settingDocument all patient encounters and clinical findings in Health Connect (EPIC EMR)Participate in scheduled video appointments and telehealth visits as neededCollaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including RNs, LVNs, and supervising physiciansApply nowto join our California OB/GYN healthcare team and make a difference in women's health in Fontana!
