Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group (PAFMG) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OBGYN physician to join our OB Hospitalist Program at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, California.Our collaborative, team-based program provides 24/7 in-house obstetric and gynecologic care, with one physician covering at a time. This role offers the opportunity to practice hospital-based obstetrics in a highly supportive environment with strong specialty backup.ResponsibilitiesOB triage, patient evaluation, and managementDelivery attendance and surgical assistanceEmergency Cesarean deliveries (support available from trauma surgery if needed)Gynecologic consults and urgent/emergent surgeryFetal monitoring and ED coverage for OB/GYN patientsYou’ll work closely with local OBGYNs, MFM specialists at a nearby sister hospital, and an in-house team that includes pediatric hospitalists, trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, adult hospitalists, intensivists, and emergency medicine physicians.QualificationsActive and unrestricted California medical licenseCurrent DEA licenseWhy Join UsAs part of Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group (PAFMG), you’ll be joining one of the largest and most respected multi-specialty groups in the Bay Area.
