OverviewClinical Asst/Assoc/Professor (Open rank) - General Neurologist or Behavioral Neurologist, University of South Carolina. Full Time position. Salary: Salary commensurate with education and experience. The appointment is in the SOMC Neurology department as part of the USC Brain Health Network, with clinical affiliation to Prisma Health. This role includes potential involvement in clinical research, teaching, and supervision of medical students, residents, and/or fellows.ResponsibilitiesDirect patient care for patients with cognitive and behavioral concerns as a member of the USC Brain Health NetworkEvaluate cognitive assessments and develop cognitive care plansProvide clinical consultation to primary care providers to support ongoing patient managementEstablish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with BHN partner clinicians and sites to support community and health system needsProvide teaching, oversight, and collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), medical students, residents, and/or fellowsParticipate in and support neuroscience research activities within the University of South Carolina and USC School of MedicineQualificationsBoard certification or board eligibility in NeurologyDemonstrated high-quality patient-oriented clinical carePreference for expertise in dementia and related cognitive disordersPreference for candidates with ongoing peer-reviewed funding and publications in high-impact journals (not required)Additional InformationSpecial Instructions to Applicant: Positions are advertised for a minimum of five (5) business days on our job website.
