Supporting execution of process development activities including, run execution, media preparation, reagent monitoring, equipment monitoring/cleaning/calibration, serving as a floating support between SMEs during high volume activities.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:• Assist process development study leads in the set up and execution of process runs• Formulate media for use in process runs• Perform cell counts using NC-200 Nucleocounter• Assist in the set up and run execution of equipment e.g. Prodigy, LOVO, Xenon Electroporator• Assist with the input of data into electronic laboratory notebook• Maintain accurate records of data, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary• Request or acquire equipment or supplies necessary for the project• Monitor the project reagents and materials• Manage and respond to project related emailsRequired Skills/Abilities:• Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in the biological sciences (or experience in biology research)• 1-2 years of experience post degree.• Ability to work as part of a team and complete experiments, analyze data and provide results to end-users in a timely fashion is required.• 1-2 years of sterile tissue culture experience preferred• Cell culture and molecular biology skills are required• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills• Attention to detail• Excellent organizational skills• Ability to work in a dynamic environment• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workEducation:• Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in the biological sciences (or experience in biology research)Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
