LVN -Outpatient- Level II – Palm Desert MOB – Family Medicine-Regular Clinic – On CallJoin to apply for the LVN -Outpatient- Level II – Palm Desert MOB – Family Medicine-Regular Clinic – On Call role at National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives.ResponsibilitiesProvides nursing care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician/advanced practice provider.Observes patients and assists medical staff to ensure optimal care within established policies, procedures, and standards.Under supervision, provides nursing care in accordance with legal scope of practice and established standards of care, policies, and procedures.Demonstrates commitment to the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan and treats coworkers, patients, families, and the health care team with dignity and respect.Exhibits excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, providers, and co-workers; adheres to service standards of the department.Transcribes orders and follows policy-guided directions; communicates with a registered nurse to adjust the plan of care; contributes to the nursing care plan.Administers specified medications as ordered and within the scope of practice; performs and supports treatments as required.Assists with examinations and treatments by preparing instruments, assisting with patient comfort and positioning, and other required support.Monitors and documents patient condition, initiates emergency procedures when necessary, and reports findings to the supervising nurse/physician as per policy.Collects specimens, assists with IV therapy where applicable, and ensures proper infection control and safety measures.Provides non-complicated teaching following the plan of care and identifies learning needs and discharge barriers.Maintains cleanliness and safety of nursing modules, patient exam rooms, and equipment; supports a safe and therapeutic environment.Uses effective verbal and non-verbal communication and participates in department activities and meetings as required.Supports back-office workflows including patient outreach, care gap closure, and nurse visits; assists in coordinating discharge processes as needed.Performs duties within license certification and scope of practice; promotes customer service and confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
