May be assigned to specific medical specialty department (e.g., orthopedics).Job RequirementsMinimum EducationHigh school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), medical assistant diploma from an accredited vocational institution, or a community college course in medical assisting. If not yet a CMA you will receive all hours required for the CMA exam. Hendrick Clinic will cover the fee for the first exam.Minimum Work ExperienceMinimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant and/or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office.
