Department of Gastroenterology - IBD Specialists Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologists to join its IBD practice within the Section of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Highlights of the Position Focus on IBD Join an experienced GI/IBD subspecialist Part of a regional, multidisciplinary IBD program Support from IBD-focused medical assistants, nurses, and pharmacists Collaborative support from colorectal surgery, GI pathology, and GI radiology Part of a collegial 16-physician GI group including general GIs, hepatologists, and advanced endoscopists Integrated practice model with internal referral network Access to GI clinical research infrastructure Onsite hospitalists available 24/7 Opportunity to teach in GI fellowship and Internal Medicine residency programs Utilization of EPIC medical record system Located in a tort reform state Compensation and Benefits Salary commensurate with experience, starting at $550,000 annually Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, vacation, CME, retirement, and malpractice insurance Sign-on bonus of $75,000 Additional Details Position is full-time, mid-senior level, in New Orleans, LA.
