In this role, you will provide high-quality anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. You will work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.ResponsibilitiesAdminister anesthesia, sedation, and pain management techniques as part of an anesthesia care teamConduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and risk evaluationsDevelop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient needs and procedural requirementsMonitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures, adjusting care as necessaryCollaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomesProvide post-anesthesia care, including pain control and recovery evaluationMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standardsUphold the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellenceParticipate in continuing education, professional development, and quality improvement initiativesQualificationsCurrent licensure as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA), as applicableCertification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), or equivalent certificationLicensed or eligible for licensure in the State of FloridaBLS and ACLS certification requiredStrong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent teamwork and communication skillsPrevious hospital-based anesthesia experience preferredNew graduates are welcome to apply.
