Join to apply for the Pediatric Gastroenterologist role at Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group (LLUFMG) 1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Join to apply for the Pediatric Gastroenterologist role at Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group (LLUFMG) Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking BC/BE candidates specializing in Pediatric Gastroenterology for a full-time position to join our Division. The Department of Pediatrics of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine is seeking one Gastroenterologist to join the division of Pediatric Gastroenterology. The division currently has eight Pediatric Gastroenterologists and a Nurse Practitioner. The division provides comprehensive gastroenterology and nutrition services to patients in the Inland Empire of Southern California. Outpatient services include clinics in general gastroenterology and specialized team clinics for patients with conditions such as intestinal failure (home TPN), enteral feeding tubes, inflammatory bowel disease, cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, spina bifida, home mechanical ventilation, and liver disease. Pediatric GI team clinics are supported by a nurse specialist, dietician, social worker, and other staff. LLUMC and Children’s Hospital serve as a tertiary care referral center for the Inland Empire, covering Riverside, San Bernardino, Inyo, and Mono counties. The hospital features a state-of-the-art endoscopy lab offering various procedures, motility studies, bio-feedback, IB Stim, breath hydrogen studies, and esophageal pH studies. Full anesthesia services are available for endoscopy procedures. Although there is no liver transplant program, pre- and post-transplant care is co-managed with regional transplant centers. As a division member, responsibilities include providing clinical care, teaching medical students and residents, and engaging in research. The ideal candidate should be an excellent clinician and educator, with experience or interest in motility disorders preferred. There are ample opportunities for research at both basic and clinical levels. Inland Empire offers the benefits of Southern California living with more affordable expenses. Compensation & Benefits The starting salary range is $256,850 - $299,650, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This does not include variable compensation or productivity bonuses.
