With planning and implementation underway, The University of Texas Medical Center will cement Austin as a premier destination for health care alongside other major Texas cities.About the Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist PositionThe Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT) are seeking experienced pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists to join the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease.Candidates will possess experience in caring for children with complex congenital and acquired heart disease and adults with congenital heart disease. Primary responsibilities will include oversight and provision of direct care to patients prior to, during, and after cardiac surgery.A successful candidate will have an appointment within the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at Dell Medical School, and regular participation in educational activities with medical students and residents will be expected.QualificationsMedical degree from an accredited medical school.Meets applicable credentialing and privileging standards for his/her specialty.
