The successful candidate will administer anesthesia protocols to patients and follow up on aftercare.Essential Functions Of The RoleAdminister anesthesia under the medical direction of an anesthesiologist.Utilize advanced treatment modalities, including but not limited to, advanced airway interventions and intubation of the trachea.Consult with the supervising anesthesiologist for the induction of anesthesia, for extubation of the trachea, unexpected or adverse perioperative events, or at any time the prescribed anesthetic deviates significantly from its expected course.Establish a comprehensive patient database to help in anesthetic planning.Orders appropriate pre-op evaluations and pre-medications after consultation with the anesthesiologist.Develop a patient-focused culture that promotes the BEST Patient itiate multi-parameter monitoring before anesthesia or in other acute care settings.Help in the post-operative management of patients, including managing post-op ventilator support and acute pain management.QualificationsEDUCATION - Masters'EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of ExperienceCERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Cert Anesthesiologist Asst (AA-C)Belonging StatementWe believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued, and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve.Baylor Scott & White Health is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and promotes equal employment opportunities for all applicants. #J-18808-Ljbffr
