OverviewLocum Pediatric Hospitalist needed in Minnesota. This Jobot Consulting job is hosted by: Megan Gordon. Location: Duluth, MN. Start Date: November 1, 2025 (Ongoing Assignment). Schedule: Three 24-hour in-house shifts per week (within a 7-day period). Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center. EMR: Epic. Salary: $100 - $1,000 per hour.A hospital in Minnesota needs a Pediatric Hospitalist for locums coverage on an ongoing basis.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide inpatient pediatric care, including ED consultations, newborn nursery care, and delivery attendanceAttend C-sections and high-risk deliveriesPerform conscious sedation and non-invasive ventilation managementIntubation (ENT/INT) for newborns and pediatricsCentral line placementCare for infants 32 weeks and upCollaborate closely with in-system NICU teams and specialistsPatient Volume & Unit InfoMax 5 patients per day8-bed pediatric unitPrimarily low to mid-acuity casesStrong cross-specialty collaboration and streamlined transfer options for high-acuity patientsRequirementsBoard Certified/Eligible Pediatrician (fellowship not required)Active Minnesota license or IMLC eligibilityBLS & PALS certifications requiredComfortable with delivery attendance and basic procedural skillsSupport & Facility2 RNs1 Administrative Office Staff24-hour on-site supportOne pediatric hospitalist on service at a timeExcellent peer support — collaborative, close-knit team atmosphereLogisticsClosest Airport: Duluth International Airport (DLH)Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 daysThis is an outstanding opportunity for a pediatrician looking for consistent, ongoing locum work in a collegial and supportive environment.
