PHYSIATRIST, Full-TimeSalary Range: $210,000 - $230,000 AnnuallyAre you ready to do more than practice medicine — the chance to lead, teach and support?The Division of Rehabilitation Medicine seeks a clinical leader to provide high-quality, comprehensive care for individuals living with disabilities or chronic health conditions. Across our outpatient clinics, inpatient service, and ambulatory surgery, you’ll help our diverse patients manage pain, improve mobility, and restore function — supporting them on their path to a better quality of addition to clinical, academic, quality, patient safety, and risk management responsibilities, you will also:Provide patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of rehab conditions and painDevelop rehab plans with a multidisciplinary team; prescribe therapies and interventionsSupervise, teach, and mentor students and residents/fellows; contribute to research and educationComplete timely documentation: notes, quality data, GME studies, billing, and reportsAttend meetings, serve on committees, and support leadership initiativesParticipate in after-hours call; ensure complete and accurate EMR documentation for reimbursementMinimum qualifications:Graduate of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)Completion of ACGME-approved General Internal Medicine Residency and PM&R FellowshipBC/BE in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with 2-3 years of relevant work experienceValid NYS medical license; ACLS and BCLS certificationsStrong familiarity with competency-based residency training curriculumClinical and teaching experience in inpatient care, ideally in both academic and community hospital settings — highly preferred.Team members enjoy a stimulating, collaborative work environment, a location in the heart of vibrant and historic downtown Brooklyn, and a complete salary/benefits package.
