Gastroenterologist in South Florida

OverviewThe University of Miami Health System is initiating a search for a Gastroenterologist to join their growing team. The physician will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services, as well as rounding/teaching on inpatients at UHealth Towers and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Preferred physicians are trained in Gastroenterology and Hepatology to see GI patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. The physician will do weekly, holiday, and weekend call proportionate to other GI providers. The physician in the clinical track is responsible for providing direct inpatient and outpatient care to GI patients at UHealth Locations and Jackson Memorial Hospital (8 half days).ResponsibilitiesMaintain outpatient clinical practice at UHealth locations, UHealth Towers, and satellite locations.Rotate on night and weekend call proportionate to other faculty.Rotate proportionate to other faculty on Gastroenterology inpatient and JMH teaching services.QualificationsMD/DO Degree.ACGME US internal medicine internship and pleted 3-year ACGME US gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship.American Board Certification/Eligible in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply.Valid DEA licensure.Permanent residency, or ability to secure proper Visa to work in the United States.Job DetailsLocation: Miami, FLEmployment type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
