Join to apply for the Psychiatrist- Adult and TAY role at ClarvidaContinue with Google Continue with Google2 months ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Psychiatrist- Adult and TAY role at ClarvidaClarvida is looking for a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our STAY Program,under the direction of a medical doctor performs comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnosis, medication management, evaluation and on-going treatment of clients with mental disorders.STAY ProcessSTAY Process provides personalized and recovery-oriented mental health services to Transitional Aged Youth (16-25 years old) with severe and persistent mental illness, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Working with a multidisciplinary team, transitional-aged youth receive individualized goal setting, intensive case management, medication management, temporary assistance with housing, educational services, employment services, substance abuse services, skill-development groups, and community-based activities.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesConducts initial client assessment to include obtaining psychiatric and medical history, performing psychiatric assessment and overall health assessment for any presenting problemOrders necessary laboratory studies, monitors and follows-up on abnormal resultsProvides prescriptions for psychiatric medications under the advice and direction of a medical doctorAssesses and evaluates responses to medications and monitors for potential side effects or adverse reactionsConsults with other members of the treatment team on clients’ treatment plansDocuments using Anasazi Electronic Health Record, a complete assessment and plan including all medication changes on each client and all other mandatory documents as designated by Program DirectorObtains medication consents when appropriateParticipates in staff in-service and case presentation meetingsConsults with medical doctor regularly on treatment plans for clientsPerform duties as designated by ACT model treatment modalityPerform Home visits and off-sites visits as required by the needs of the families and participantsProvide support and perform other duties as assigned or necessaryMay provide direct supervision to any LPT or LVN’s on staffWorks under minimal supervision by Program Director and Staff PsychiatristRecovery RequirementsProvide the best customer care possible, including reliability in working a flexible working scheduleIdentify and build upon the strengths of consumers, coworkers, and the communities we serveSupport consumers’ steps towards Recovery and WellnessCreate an organizational culture that respects and celebrates the diversity of our consumersValue learning as an ongoing process that enables us to better service our consumers and establishes our leadership in the industryResearch and utilize our industry’s best practices and analyze our own services to ensure the best possible outcomesEducation/Licensing RequirementsGraduate of an accredited college or university with a masters in NursingCurrent Nurse Practitioner license from the Board of Registered Nursing in the practicing stateCompetitive salaries & benefitsPaid Vacation Days (1st year 12 days; increases with tenure)Paid Sick Days (Accrual per pay period)9 Paid Holidays (including Day after Thanksgiving)Medical, Dental, Vision including a Health Savings Account or FSAHealth, Dependent and Transportation Flexible Spending AccountsBasic and Optional Life Insurance for Employee, Spouse and/or Dependents401KPerks @ Clarvida (student loan refinancing, pet insurance, Verizon wireless discount, movie, hotel, concert and sporting event discounts)If you're #readytowork Clarvida CA is #readytohire!Not the job you’re looking for?Clarvida is an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity.
