The physician will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services to those patients who require Gastroenterology/Hepatology services and Gastroenterology screening procedures.Outline of additional responsibilitiesInclude but are not limited to:Maintain outpatient clinic and endoscopic procedures at Uhealth Doral/Solé MiaRotate on night and weekend on-call on the medical campus at UHT and JMH, proportionate to other physiciansRotate on inpatient at UHT or JMH, proportionate to other providersQualificationsMD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency and GI fellowshipValid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligible)Board Certification in Gastroenterology/Hepatology (or board eligible)Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)Valid DEA licensureCurrent BLS certification required; ACLSMust be able to provide prerequisite case logs for procedures for prior two years for credentialingKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniquesMust maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirementsMust have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of careClose encounters within 72 hoursSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionHealth Care ProviderIndustriesHospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
