We are searching for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience who is passionate about a teaching position in a collegial, faith-based environment.Practice detailsWe are a very busy practice with over 16 Orthopaedic surgeons, 4 Physician Assistants on staff and a total of 25 Orthopaedic Surgery residents in training. A resident is assigned to the oncology rotation. Most of the surgical care will be performed at the medical center and lesser cases at another facility, East Campus approximately a mile away.Area and relocationLoma Linda is recognized as the only Blue Zone in the nation and is a family-friendly community known for its health and wellness focus. Loma Linda University is located in Southern California between Los Angeles and Palm Springs in the Inland Empire. The area offers beaches, skiing, hiking, and outdoor activities with a relatively low cost of living. Faculty members are eligible for federal student loan forgiveness programs. Relocation assistance is available (if applicable).Compensation & benefitsExpected Total Annual Compensation: $680,000 - $835,000 — includes variable compensation and is based on a 1.0 FTE work schedule. The compensation range for starting base compensation only, adjusted for years of experience and/or faculty rank, is expected to be $612,000 - $752,000.
