Primary responsibilities will include oversight and provision of direct care to patients prior to, during, and after cardiac surgery. Other responsibilities include developing and implementing care protocols, overseeing the QI registries pertinent to Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia and to oversee education, quality assurance and ongoing performance improvement initiatives.A successful candidate will have an appointment within the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at Dell Medical School, and regular participation in educational activities with medical students and residents will be expected.Live in Austin a Vibrant, Lively, University CityKnown for its excellent schools, lively music scene, superb cuisine, and international festivals such as South by Southwest.
