Staff Physician- Per Diem

UCI Family Medicine provides clinical services across multiple settings and offers education across undergraduate, medical student, and resident programs. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for patients of all ages. Work with the team to address patient requests through electronic and physical inboxes, lab and radiology reports, and prescription refills. Complete documentation and billing in a timely manner. May be asked to cover clinical vacancies in the same day, walk-in, etc., within the FQHC. What It Takes to be Successful Required: Family physician; board-certified, full-scope ambulatory health care services including care of children, adults and the elderly. Proficiency in Spanish. MD or DO from an accredited institution; completion of Family Medicine residency; board certification in Family Medicine. California Medical license; active and current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification. Candidates who recently completed a residency or fellowship are encouraged to apply. Preferred: Experience in providing and/or oversight of prenatal care; Leadership skills to motivate, inspire, and communicate with faculty, residents, staff, and peers to maintain a professional, team-based approach in patient care.
