GI Staff Physician

Summary of Job Responsibilities:The staff physician in the clinical track is responsible for providing direct outpatient care to GI and Hepatology patients UHealth Doral and/or Solé Miá in North Miami [9 half days]. Sole Mia is Opening fall 2025. He/she will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services to those patients who require Gastroenterology/ Hepatology services, and Gastroenterology screening procedures.Outline of additional responsibilities include but are not Limited to:Maintain outpatient clinic and endoscopic procedures at Uhealth Doral/Solé MiáRotate on night and weekend on call on medical campus at UHT and JMH proportionate to other physiciansRotate on inpatient at UHT or JMH proportionate to other providersQualifications:MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency and GI fellowshipValid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligible)Board Certification in Gastroenterology/Hepatology(or board eligible)Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)Valid DEA licensureCurrent BLS certification required.
