Interventional Cardiology ARNP AHMG OcalaJoin to apply for the Interventional Cardiology ARNP AHMG Ocala role at AdventHealth.OverviewThe Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner functions as a member of the medical care management team for physician practice patients (Cardiology). The ARNP may diagnose medical conditions, plan and implement treatment collaboratively with the supervising physician, in accordance with the Florida Hospital Physician Group medical staff delineation of clinical privileges for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners. Depending on the practice, ARNP may be required to take practice call. Will diagnose and treat in collaboration with the supervising Cardiologist, adult cardiovascular patients in addition to a variety of chronic health conditions including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, etc. Determines abnormalities by administering and/or ordering diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies.Education And Experience RequiredMSN (Master/'s of Nursing)Minimum of 3 years/' experience as a RN in the Cardiology settingProvides direct care with licensing credentials under the auspices of supervising MDLicensure, Certification Or Registration RequiredValid American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationLicensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of FloridaAdvanced Registered Nurse CertificationContinuing education required to maintain licensurePractice DescriptionThe West Florida Division Medical Group continues to grow rapidly to meet the needs of the communities we serve.
