OverviewSenior Product Manager, Proteomics role at MESO SCALE DIAGNOSTICS, LLC. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for product management and commercialization of MSD products, ensuring achievement of short- and long-term revenue, profit, and goals. The role involves evaluating industry and customer trends, defining customer needs, developing detailed product requirements for future products, and leading commercial launches. The position supports cross-functional teams with product vision and strategy, identifies and fills product gaps, and generates ideas to grow market share. The role owns the full lifecycle of the product line from new product introduction, forecasting, pricing, supply continuity, to transitions to new offerings. As a senior member of the team, the incumbent operates with a high degree of independence and provides mentorship and guidance to other Product Managers.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, execute, and manage product line strategyDefine product strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals and market opportunitiesBalance product line innovation with operational excellenceBuild business cases for new product offerings and portfolio expansionMonitor product performance, market trends, and customer needs to identify growth opportunitiesCapture market insights and voice of the customerCollaborate with field-based commercial teams to gather feedback from pharma, biotech, and academic customersGather market insights from conferences, publications, and key opinion leadersConduct and synthesize voice of customer research to inform product strategy and requirementsOversee product development, launch, and lifecycle managementWork with R&D to define product requirements, specifications, and performance metricsDefine product positioning, pricing, and differentiation within the multiplexed immunoassay and proteomics marketSupport marketing collateral and training materials for product launchesAccountable for the commercial success of assigned product line responsibilitiesDefine and analyze KPIs to monitor product line performance for continuous improvementMonitor competitive environment and perform competitive product analysisDevelop tactics to address direct and indirect competition and adjust positioning accordinglyCross-functional collaboration with Assay Development, Quality, and Operations to drive product development programsCoordinate with Global Sales Management to develop tactical marketing and training programsCollaborate with Sales, Scientific Support, Customer Service, and Finance to improve marketing effectiveness and customer loyaltyProvide mentorship and guidance to other Product ManagersAssist team members in developing product messaging, market sizing, financial forecasts, and pricingExperience And QualificationsBachelor’s degree in life science, marketing, communications, or a related fieldAdvanced degree preferredMinimum of seven years of experience in product managementKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesStrong knowledge of product management best practices and success in lifecycle management of life science productsUnderstanding of immunoassays and proteomics platforms and their developmentExcellent organizational, planning, and time management skills for handling multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate information clearlyAbility to build and sustain relationships with cross-functional stakeholdersAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesCreative, collaborative, proactive, and self-motivatedAbility to advise, mentor, and guide teammates in product managementWillingness to travel and work outside normal business hours as neededPhysical DemandsFrequently required to sit and stand for long periods. Travel up to 20% may be required.Work EnvironmentStandard office environment, remote or hybrid pensation SummaryThe annual base salary for this position ranges from $116,600 to $177,800. This salary range is a general guideline; offers consider scope, responsibilities, market factors, and candidate qualifications.
