This role goes beyond traditional program management: you’ll act as the strategic owner for driving mission impact, ensuring technical delivery, and building lasting client partnerships.The right candidate thrives at the intersection of federal mission needs and cutting-edge software, can earn trust with senior government stakeholders, and knows how to mobilize cross-functional teams to deliver results at scale.Your ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the execution of program initiatives and tasks to meet the program's administrative, technical, and operational requirementsLead the full lifecycle of software implementation, from requirements intake to deployment and adoption.Define and drive program goals, KPIs, and success criteria tied to agency mission outcomes.Anticipate risks, resolve issues, and ensure the program delivers measurable value.Partner directly with federal customers to translate strategic objectives into technical solutions.Develop a deep understanding of the agency’s mission and use that insight to guide solution fluence client decision-makers and advocate for product adoption/expansion.Orchestrate delivery across engineering, product, data science, and security stakeholders.Support contract actions, proposals, and other program sustainment and growth efforts as needed.Build enduring relationships that drive renewals, expansions, and follow-on work.Deliver clear, compelling updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.About YouPrior experience at a high-growth software company5+ years of experience leading enterprise software programs in the federal sector.Track record of delivering mission-critical solutions with measurable impact.Strong understanding of federal procurement and delivery frameworks (OTA, BAA, SBIR, etc.).Ability to translate between technical teams and executive stakeholders.Familiarity with delivering data platforms, AI/ML solutions, or SaaS at federal scale.Background working with DHS, DoD, or large civilian agencies.Ability to maintain a government security clearance. Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance, a plus.This role is based in Washington, DC, USA with hybrid work flexibility and candidates must be within commuting distance from our office.US Salary Range and Benefits$180,000 - $200,000 USDThe salary range, to the extent specified for this role, is a good faith statement of the minimum and maximum levels of the annual base salary for the position. The base salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on a wide range of compensation factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Altana's total compensation package. Altana also offers either a discretionary bonus or a variable compensation plan depending on the role.
