Holds keys to the store and maintains high level of responsibility for store security and standardsAssist with guiding, directing, and motivating team members. Monitor sales and motivate the team to hit forecasted goalsServe as Manager on Duty when neededAssist with the recruiting, hiring, and training of team membersHelp build product-knowledge driven sales culture, sharing knowledge of the industry, eco-initiatives, and high-quality product to Store Team and CustomersUphold and enforce company policies, procedures, and corporate directivesEnsure manager directives are being properly executedCoach and train retail associates as neededComplete and delegate tasks assigned by the retail manager accurately and efficientlyCoordinate daily activities with the teamReceive shipment, process transfers, and markdowns. Responsible for product counts and inventory monitoringComplete price and promotion changes and signageParticipate in analysis of inventory and sales reports and contribute to high level business reviewAssist with banking, cash handling, and correctly depositing fundsProvide excellent customer serviceRepresent the brand with actions and knowledge of productPromote a fun, organized, efficient environment and lead by examplePerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school education or equivalent3 years of experience in a retail/apparel setting, including 1+ years in a supervisory role1+ years’ visual merchandising experience preferredInterpersonal, customer service, and basic math & reporting skillsBe an effective team playerStrong people management skillsStrong leadership skillsStrong ethical behaviorStrong computer and POS system experienceStrong sales knowledge and ability to trainPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
