You will be responsible for optimizing team performance, project delivery and guiding multiple directors, managers and team members in a 50+ software development team. You will drive technical strategy, oversee product development, ensure high-quality software delivery and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.What You BringWe welcome candidates from all backgrounds. If you meet most of the qualifications below, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet every single one.What You’ll DoDevelop and execute on engineering initiatives to align with the company’s business objectives, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.Implement processes and metrics to optimize resource utilization, ensuring teams are working on high-impact projects that align with company priorities.Identify and mitigate risks related to resource constraints, technical challenges, and project delivery to ensure successful outcomes.Drive teams to meet and exceed project deadlinesWork closely with the CTO on product prioritiesCoach, lead and develop future leaders within CHAMP’s technical teamRequirements Qualifications10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing large-scale engineering teams.Strong expertise in resource management and utilization, with experience optimizing team performance and project delivery.Demonstrated success in aligning technical initiatives with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.Experience leading and delivering large-scale, complex technical projects from conception to productionExceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).Understanding of software development, system architecture, and emerging technologies.Preferred QualificationsExperience in government technology, regulated industries, or enterprise SaaS is a bonus.Experience in a start-up or accelerated growth software company.Why You’ll Like Working HereAnnual Bonus PotentialUnlimited PTO PolicyMatching 401K with immediate vestingSubsidized Lunches at our Cleveland HeadquartersFast Paced work environment in a growth companyNewly Renovated Office SpaceSalary RangeThe expected salary range for this position is $200,000 to $240,000 annually.
