Network Security Engineer – APAC Region

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our APAC network/security team. The role involves monitoring, managing, and responding to all network security incidents in the APAC time zone. You will collaborate with industrial site stakeholders, external vendors, and global teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the security posture.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of monitoring, managing, and resolving network security incidents within the APAC region, ensuring rapid and effective response.Collaborate with regional industrial site stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate incident response, remediation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Provide expert guidance on incident handling, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.Contribute to the development and enhancement of incident response processes, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.Maintain clear documentation and present actions, recommendations, and project updates to the regional security manager.Participate in projects involving firewall migrations, service tower creations, and transitions (build-to-run).Troubleshoot complex network issues involving firewalls and industrial network environments.Education & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in the network security field.Hands-on experience with LAN/Wi-Fi Cisco solutions at a large-scale level.Experience with Palo Alto firewall environment (Palo Alto, Panorama) and Zscaler/SDWAN Cisco Catalyst.Knowledge of EDR solutions is a plus.Experience within industrial networks (OT/ICS) and IT/OT convergence.Understanding of securing industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA environments is advantageous.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills for managing complex security challenges.Strong project coordination abilities with multiple stakeholders.Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills:Network Security ArchitecturePalo Alto Firewall Management (Large Scale)Network Troubleshooting (Expert)Behavioral Competencies:Result orientation, influence & impactEmpowerment & accountabilityTeam spirit, building relationships, collective accountabilityExcellent oral and written communication, including translating technical solutions into business termsLanguage RequirementsFluent in English (written and spoken)Execution ModalityPrimarily on-site in Pune, India with occasional remote work #J-18808-Ljbffr
